a look back

January 29, 2012 By Kristin Zecchinelli

(January 29, 2011.  My husband’s hands making a loaf of his homemade bread. )

Today let’s simply take a look back.

Where were you this day one year ago?

What did you capture in your lens that day?

Looking back can be fun.  You may be surprised by what you find.  I hope the look back brings with it a good memory.

Share your look back with us here.

Happy Sunday everyone.

Your tender photo of your husband's hands making bread is so captivating and
I love the poetry/intimacy of it

    I was nesting that morning

it reminded me how lovely the morning winter light is

everything is more beautiful in the morning!

Looking back in time through photos is a lot of fun! I am working on a year-long project I'm calling "365 Days Journey Through the Past" where I upload a photo taken on that day sometime in the past. Apparently, I was in a cemetery on today's date doing some cemetery photography.

i like doing this – a look back on the day.
One year ago I was enjoying a day with my friend – she came to my home and then we went on a walk in woods with our springer spaniels.

On this day last year I reflected on the love of my family. And exactly this is why I love having done a 365 for a whole year – that visual record for each day.

How fun to look back. On this day last year it was raining and we spent some time at ikea. Which is funny because we actually relived this day just last week!

I was at College Game Day in Allen FieldHouse – today is much more quiet, making calzones for the freezer and heading to an old fashioned pie social to celebrate Kansas Day! I prefer this year :).

I didn't have a photo from this date…and only a few photos from this month last year. But just finding those and reflecting on where I was then and now has been a great exercise. I'm so glad that if you do this again next year, I'm on a 365 journey so I should have a shot from each date!

Wow, this was cool to do, thank you, so brought a smile to my face. So my in-laws had just arrived for their first visit to NZ. They were all so happy to be together again. We had been to Piha beach for a leg stretch after a long haul flight

Looking back…one of the benefits of blogging. I recently lost all my blog photos and was determined to put everything back as it was. I found all but a few photos and the exercise gave me the opportunity to review the past year. It was amazing to see how my blog changed (although slightly) and how my photos changed (I think/hope for the better). Wonderful post!!!

funny you should post this, 'cause last feb. 2nd {a couple days from now}, i posted the same post that i had posted the year before, as it was a list of things about myself that i wanted to re-post to see how the list had changed… or stayed the same. i was thinking of doing it again this year.
