You may know I love to animate my images together, I’m constantly playing in imovie, creating stop frame animations or slideshow videos. I often see photos in a sequence, and feel that one photo/image isn’t enough to tell my story. I like to collage & montage photos or create storyboards, I even have photowalls to show my work. During my art college days, I was always photographing, and then got very into video and animation. I feel I’ve come full circle back to this love, I’d like to take my work in that direction in future, and I’ve started to offer a slideshow option to clients, giving them an extra dimension to a photo session.
Not everyone has imovie, so when I stumbled upon this site – www.picasion.com I just had to share, so you can try and animate your own images.
Have a go! it’s really easy & fabulous fun, you may discover you love to animate too. Please come back and show me your results, I’d really like to see them.

I agree. This is so fun. As a video editor, I use Final Cut Pro to create "stop motion" style videos with photos. Here are a couple of examples:

Thank you for this prompt! I posted my first video/slideshow to my blog today! Awesome. I feel empowered by having done this successfully (fingers crossed)! I started a masters in film years ago and dropped out after my father passed in 2011. I have always wanted to come back to it. Grateful for even the smallest of starts.

I think that this was a very poignant passage. I am the exact same way- open-minded girl, small town, dreams of New York City constantly, frequently seen with my Canon Rebel T3i accompanied by a notebook and pen. As a budding Shutter Sister myself, I totally understood where this was coming from. You hit it spot on!
