It’s Saturday morning, and if you’re like every other woman in America, your to-do list has already been set for days. Here’s a friendly reminder from your Shutter Sisters community to make sure you make the list–because all the little things you do to bring hope and light to the people you love, make the world a much better place.
Today we want to see your photos of what you did for you. Have a great day, sisters!

I played with my new lens last night and today, a 55-250mm f/4-5.6:
From last night – today’s aren’t processed yet:

And now I’m going to take a nap. =)
Took a turn down a new road, not far off my path to home, and made a new friend: http://www.flickr.com/photos/31866449@N04/3495046318/.
Today I graduated from College. I walked and I celebrated with some of my family and closest friends. It was wonderful.
I posted the pictures on flickr as well as my blog!
Today? Today I just let time pass by without forcing myself to do anything in particular.
I liked it.
I also dedicated some time to set the rules for a photo challenge I will be going to host with a flickr friend, Jeana.

Thanks for the reminder!
It was hard to find time for myself today. I tried though, I really did.

i enjoyed a wonderful walk through my neighborhood, a delicious meal outside, and an overall fun time with my husband… we didn’t talk about anything stressful, we laughed, we enjoyed the relaxing company of each other.

I wish I could say I took some time for myself today but with a sick husband there just wasn’t time to take. This was a good reminder though that I should get on this task, right away.
We had crazy spring weather today — and I enjoyed strolling the grounds of my alma mater and snapping a few pictures while on a break from a training. Those pics and a couple from a walk with family are in my blog entry today.

Yesterday, I went to the San Francisco Ballet, for the first time. I’ve wanted to go for 20 years, but something always got in the way.
It was so wonderful and beautiful! The dancers are so talented and evocative! I really enjoyed myself, despite being ill!
Unfortunately, I couldn’t take any pictures, but the mental pictures will remain in my memory!
Thanks for this post! It’s always good to remind ourselves to do things for ourselves and it’s good to take time to reflect and be grateful, which your post helped me to do. Thank you so much!
This is the expression of my happiness!

Thank you again!
I stole a few moments to admire the dandilion puffs on the lawn yesterday. I was feeling so light and easy after finishing the winter semester in grad school – and so glad to be healthy and home with my lovies. Thanks for the inspiration to celebrate that again! http://sandycovetrail.blogspot.com/2009/05/semesters-over-may-at-last.html
I actually forced myself to get out in gloomy drizzle an take pics this weekend.

Everything was all good again afterwards.

I bought myself a bunch of tulips… just because.
