can you picture spring yet?

February 10, 2010 By Tracey Clark

Are you as eager for spring as I am? Even beyond the weather, I am excited to announce the BIG thing that’s will be starting on April 1st: Picture Spring! In true Shutter Sisters’ style I will be leading a 30-day photo project to celebrate the season of promise and renewal.

Picture Spring is a daily e-class, hosted over at the ever-fabulous Big Picture Scrapbooking that will awaken your creative spirit and open your heart and mind to all the wonders that the spring has to offer. One picture at a time.

Pop over to the Picture Spring registration page for more details and sign up if you’d like to join us. Spread the word. Invite friends. Grab a button (see it over there on our sidebar? cute, huh?). Tweet it. Retweet it. Call your sister. The more the merrier! It’s going to be a perfect way to grow and bloom this spring, cameras in hand. I can’t wait!

And just to help get the snow melting (come on spring!) we’re giving away 3 registrations today!

Share your pictures or words that sing of spring today (albeit a little early) and you’ll be entered to win one of the complimentary registrations for the soon-coming Picture Spring.

Here in Maine, we have a long way to go before Spring, but amazingly, so far, we’ve had a much milder winder than the Mid-Atlantic. Many of my friends are actually WISHING for snow when usually this time of year, we just can’t wait for it to be gone. My favorite Spring thing to do this time of year is to obsess over my seed catalogs and plan my garden.

Spring has come earlier than expected in the NW. I spotted an early blooming cherry blossom at my son’s school and it makes my heart sing to think that warmer days are just around the corner.

Oh what a fun class that will be!

Spring is still quite a ways away here – we still have LOTS of snow on the ground but I can’t wait for spring to arrive. It is my favorite season.

Hopefully this registers my comment as February 10th still… it’s not quite midnight in California! ๐Ÿ™‚

That being said… I’m definitely picturing spring: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bleach226/4344820115/

well i would love nothing more than a little piece of spring to come my way alas we will still have winter here for at least 6 weeks more. but i clearly remember my first spring sighting last year. while my home was still buried under snow we took a trip into the city and i saw them, witch hazel trees in bloom! it was the prettiest yellow ever.

Do you acknowledge that it is high time to get the <a href="http://lowest-rate-loans.com">loan</a&gt;, which would make you dreams real.
