My father and I, circa 1972.
Today, here in the States, we honor our fathers. You didn’t think we’d miss it did you?
Daughters, let’s pay homage to the father-figures in our lives. Share a thought and/or a photo in celebration of these phenomenal men.
I'm happy you didn't miss it. It's a wonderful day.

So sweet! How you must treasure this photo.
Recently, I was sitting in a restaurant with my dad and the lighting was perfect. I took out my camera and he gave me the same look my kids give me when I take their photo.

This year I turned 30 and my man surprised me with a visit from my parents!
That first day we ate lunch at Pike Market then took the ferry over to my god-parents acreage where we all feasted and slept over. I took this pictures on the ferry ride over. What a sweet memory.
