I’ve spent much of the last 24 hours graciously soaking up all of your comments and eagerly reading through encouraging and constructive emails. The love and support of this community is invigorating. Thank you all so much.
First, please pardon the error in the registration process. We have reworked it so you can sign up under “get into the click”. We appreciate how enthusiastic you are to join us! The more the merrier!
So, now we continue to carefully contemplate things around here, slowly and steadily making our moves, playing behind the scenes to work it all out. It’s a game I’m new at but I’ll tell you what– I’m sure glad you’ve all come to play. It makes the learning curve so much more enjoyable. Keep the feedback coming.
Hey this is Krystyn, I helped put the site together. Sorry for all the confusion here.
The registration module has been removed, it wasn’t a functioning part of the site, and good news is, not necessary. You don’t need to register to do anything on the site.
The web address will be shuttersisters.com by week’s end. We’re in "soft launch" phase right now, so give us your feedback on anything and everything!
I am bookmarking your site and plan to be back. I am an amateur photographer myself and can’t wait to read and see your site! It looks great. ๐

This is such an awesome idea. I am excited to see it really get going. I got my first digital slr last summer and have been hooked.
I wish you had RSS so I could subscribe and read regularly….is this a part of the plan?
Tracey, this is so very, very promising. You’ve got a great lineup of women involved, and I can’t wait to see what develops!
just wanted to check on the RSS issue as well…hoping a feed is in the works…otherwise, i’ll just have to keep pressing refresh like there weren’t other responsibilities to tend to. one year, naw…he can feed himself, right??
The site looks great. The photos are beautiful. I’m excited to see how this site will grow, and I’m looking forward to all I can learn from so many talented photographers!
Hi ladies! It is my understanding that by the end of the week, we should be operating under shuttersisters.com and then the RSS feed will work.
Also, Raquita, there are buttons under the "Welcome" link in the navigation column. Scroll down and there is a link to them under "click". Please take one!
SHUT UP!!! this is more gorgeous than i ever dreamt. am i surprised that you have birthed this beauty? of course not. but it is a sight to behold, and you are definitely going to turn me into a lover of blogs. you win. this is perfect. THANK YOU for the inspiration.
I am so glad that I stumbled on SS. Since planning my Nov ’07 wedding and looking through all the different photographers, I found myself becoming more and more interested in photography and photojournalism. Although I don’t plan to take it to a professional level I would like to start taking more professional looking photos. Thank you for creating this site and giving me and others the drive and determination to do so.
