This is a polaroid I shot at Shutter Sisters Camp, and one of my favorites, because it is not only extremely weird looking, but it is a photo of a photo of a photo! In the background you see a row of sisters jumping and shooting Kristin and Xanthe, who are in the foreground, shooting the sisters in action in return. Then, of course, there was me, shooting them all, as they faded back into the thick beach fog.
I’m seriously grateful for group photos, aren’t you? I think they each carry a story and fun energy of their own, almost always making us smile.
So today share your group shots with us, so that we may have a window into light, silly moments you witnessed. Make us smile and make us feel thankful for these special moments of gathering and laughter in our lives.
I just posted a group photo in the OWP pool.

My students on a field trip to the marsh…such a blast to see them explore, build knowledge about our world and become stewards for special places.

My fave group shot I have taken recently is this one – it's about halfway down the post, where everyone is holding hands and looking out to sea… http://www.angiemuldowney.co.uk/2011/10/family-photo-shoot/
I love the shot behind the shot – always so telling and interesting.
I find the annual family photo shoot is always full of interesting outtakes, especially when you include animals in the mix.

who, for the sake of pleasing the king, had been obliged to assume an amiable mien towards this whole rustic rabble of Flemish burgomasters, and to regale them at his H?tel de Bourbon, with a very "pretty morality, allegorical satire, and farce," while a driving rain drenched the magnificent tapestries at his door. http://www.digbbc.com
