Love Thursday: May 29, 2008

052908_600.jpg

What with my previous thoughts about hearts found in nature, and Andrea's challenge to find hidden messages all around us, I thought this week I'd share my small collection of found hearts -- heart shaped objects I've found in various places around the world over the past couple of years.

It seems love really is where you find it.

Happy Love Thursday, everyone.  Please leave your links of love in the comments section below, and be sure to check out the images left by HipMomma and cherryvanillastudios in the Shutter Sisters Flickr Pool for inspiration.

And may you find love all around you today.

    Response: Love keeps growing
We’re just past the halfway point of the kids’ first week away this summer, and truthfully, the days are passing at a tolerable pace. It helps to have a major catastrophe to tend to, I guess, to take my mind off of other things. LUCKY ME!O...

Dear Chickie, It seems like only yesterday that I held you in my arms. You needed me for everything, and for that I was very grateful (mostly). You were an easy baby, sleeping through the night at only three months...

Those rocks are lovely. Love is where you find it. Mine is an ugly pile of lumber, transformed into a bean fort my sons. Not pretty, but made with love. http://www.susiej.com/index.php/a-sight-for-sore-eyes/

witnessed this nice guy help an older lady find her footing as she was trying to get up and climb over the seawall she was sitting on.

Wow. I found my first and only natural heart on the beach during my 16th birthday party. A wave came and washed it out of my hand. Half an hour later, while sitting at the edge of the water, letting the waves lap over me, I pulled up a handful of sand, and there was the heart again.
