One Word Project: DREAM

Lots of little birds have told us how eager you are for the new word for March's One Word Project. Yay! Without further delay, the word of the month is DREAM.

There's no time like spring to unearth our truest longings, take a new look at an old possibility or let yourself hope for something exciting and new.  Fill our OWP Flickr pool with what you're dreaming of this spring--let your eye fill the frame with whatever it is that's reminding you anything is possible.  Our one word sponsor is Mondo Beyondo, the online class about dreaming big.  Next class starts March 8!

Tell us what you're dreaming of in the comments below.

In the short-term..I'm dreaming of spring. Of longer days and warmer ones and birds flying freely:

Lately my dreams have surrounded creating a sense of home in my new country.

I'm dreaming of going to Nicaragua on a humanitarian service trip in the spring. (But I'm notorious for throwing up when I travel. So I'm also dreaming that I make it through the trip without THAT! http://www.ayearofhappy.com/2010/03/five-times-on-the-road-to-hana.html )

I'm dreaming of warmth and I'm sure I'm not alone as so many of us wait not so patiently for spring. I'm settling for a little indoor sunshine and a balloon to lift my spirits.

My dreams are not very defined just now.

I'm happy in my life, but I know that there are big changes ahead.

My imagined future is pretty vague, but I hope it to be vibrant, bright and a little bit magical.

I just finished living a dream... one I didn't know I'd had. I moved to Vancouver this summer, and the fact that the winter olympics were going to be held here was really of very little consequence to me. Once it was underway though, there was some sort of magic that just took over. The vibe in the city was indescribable and I am so happy to have experienced it.

I first heard of creating a Mondo Beyondo list after reading it on Andrea Scher's Superhero Journal. What a great idea I thought; to write out all of your dreams, put them out into the universe. And from that day on I have been writing out my Mondo Beyondo List yearly, sometimes more than once a year.

In January of 2008 I wrote out my list. One of the items on my list was to be photographed by the amazing Andrea Scher. I admire her photographs that she post's on her blog and feel that she has an incredible way of capturing such raw honest moments. Due to a turn of events in my life I was able to attend squam arts workshops and had the priveldge to take the class that andrea was teaching. During that class andrea photographed me wearing a white wig and a red hat. My mondo beyondo dream was unfolding right in front of me. I remember when I wrote that on my list. It was one of the things I thought would never happen, but I was dreaming big.

Then last year in Manzanita I had the opportunity to take another class with Andrea at the Be Present Retreat. It was such a pivotal moment in my life. I felt so Brave and shared pieces of myself while in that class that I never expected to share. It was such a great feeling. During that class Andrea photographed me again with the words Brave written across my chest. In that moment of my life I felt so Brave.

When creating my mondo beyondo list I let my fears subside and wrote out my dreams. And right before my very eyes they happened...not once but twice. And now I look back on the above photograph and am transported back to that moment in time. Standing outside in manzanita, everyone a buzz with excitment, and me standing there Brave as I have never been before.

I highly recommend the Mondo Beyondo Class with Andrea and Jen. To put it simply...it rocks!

Currently I am dreaming of love. Experiencing it, being open to is, and basking it ~ once I find it of course.

i am dreaming of creating something big but i'm not sure what it is yet. i wish i had a name for it. to write and photograph together and the sum of the two will be IT.

my flickr pool is sadly lacking. i think there are a few images on my flickr badge that's on the edge of my blog. though on the other hand? is it even still there? i'd best take a look.

but DREAMING, i am. and my blog is part of it. maybe a stepping stone but it's leading me somewhere.

I am dreaming of peace in my life. I am dreaming of finding a place to call Home in this new adventure my family is on. I am dreaming of being worthy and knowing that i am enough. I am dreaming of putting my amateur photography skills together with my "wanna-be-writing" skill to create a work of art. These are my dreams.
