-Image of Jen Gray who is a true gift.
Our weekend away has been a big success. The Shutter Suite is going beautifully with visits from so many wonderful women. Please note: Those of you who are not here…you are deeply missed.
In the last few days we have celebrated not only who we are as a community of women online but also who we are in our daily lives; as photographers, artists, mothers, authors, and entrepreneurs. There are so many collaborative successes and personal accomplishments swirling about. It feels so amazing to be a part of so much goodness in the world. So much goodness among us.
We all put our own personal labors of love out into the world–our photography, our projects, our hopes and dreams–in a place like this community where feel safe to share our gifts. In return get gifts back. We hold them in our hands and share them between us. It’s our way as women and as sisters.
Please leave a comment here to be entered in a random drawing for a few of the gifts we’d like to share with you. We’ve got 5 beautiful Picture Hope Books from Blurb as well as 5 lovely prints of Hope Street, printed courtesy of the very gracious Color Inc Pro Labs.
aww, such a beautiful post. I enjoy little reminders like this about how important things like community are.
i wish to be here, so much…
I so wish I lived on the other side of the world… I would so be there.
Sounds like such a wonderful experience…an amazing community of like-minded souls sharing and supporting each others’ journeys. Altho not there in ‘body’…am there with you in my ‘heart’.
I wish I could be there with everyone!

wow. amazing. enter me in!
This is a fab photo Jen! My best gift this year was having one of my pictures included in the Picture Hope book.
I’ve already ordered two copies and can hardly wait until they get all the way to London so I can pore over them and admire everyone else’s work too.
Hope floats my boat!
Emma. xo
It sounded like an amazing event and I would have loved to have been their in person – maybe next year….
Great post, thanks. ๐

Thank you for your post, it makes me feel part of the community nevertheless.
It sounds like you ladies have been having a great time, and really encapsulating the spirit of what most of us love about blogs.
I really want that GS camera now.
I love that photo!
I really enjoyed the time I spent in the SS suite. I was pretty shy when I walked in, but everyone was so nice and I appreciated that so much. I enjoyed learning about Aurora, and Sunday morning our Lensbaby walk was FANTASTIC.
Thank you. It was nice to be in the company of women who were relaxed and peaceful — it was not that way in many of the conference’s gathering places!
Lisa
I ‘see’ the affection, alliance and alliegiance you all share in this photo. You’ve each added much sparkle, encouragement and a window into what is possible by reading your blogs and meeting you at Squam. Thank you from heart to yours,

Sounds like you were having a great time! Love reading your blog every morning.
I feel so out of the loop! My laptop crashed and burned on Thursday night, so I haven’t been able to check in at all to see what’s going on. Back at work and on lunch break, thankfully. But my new harddrive just arrived! Yay!
