one seed

September 21, 2012 By Xanthe Berkeley

One seed… One idea… One little bit of hope…

All it takes is a seed of an idea to spark something you can nurture and grow.

What seed do you have in your head? What creative project, practical idea, hope or dream would you like to grow. Share with us here today.

Today you could start to make it happen.

Trust the process. Make your acorn grow into a mighty oak.

A reminder that everything big starts small…and that these tall flowers were once tiny little seeds…and that my project ideas will grow if I nurture them:

I love that image . . . now that I've moved states my dream is to find a new venue to sell my artwork here in Cincinnati.

Oh, my dream would be to able to earn a living of my passion (photography). For now, it's a dream in construction 😉
    I believe… everything is possible.

In this post, I talked a little bit about that….

I've always told my children to be sure to "follow your heart"… This heart reflection on the water reminds me of just that. My heart has longed to live near water and I made it! This picture was taken off the Beaufort, NC docks. I just LOVE it here! Next dream to realize is to make my living doing something I love, or lots of things I love! Happy Friday to all and have a great weekend!

Reminds me of a similar poem I've always liked:

“Don’t worry if your tasks are small and rewards are few, remember that the mighty oak was once a nut like you!”

I have a few seeds in my head, but am not sure when the time will be to plant and nourish them. Hopefully in the next few years…

With autumn's arrival, I have so many ideas floating around in my head! I need to just pick one and go with it! Thanks for this encouraging reminder!

This summer I planted a seed called Sparks of Grace and I'm gently nurturing it into a life of its own, letting it evolve in the way it needs to.

I'm combining my passion — photography — with the timeless wisdom of quotations to create postcards that I hope will wing their way from one person to another, bringing a ray of sunshine as they travel.

I'm donating all the proceeds to a hospice project in my community.

It's a small but heartfelt project. My family has benefited from hospice care in the past and my wish is that all families have access to it if they should need it. http://sherrygaley.wordpress.com/sparks-of-grace-postcards/

my dream(s) are all about images, about my own envisioned destiny coming to flower after a long budding. To work with people in front of my lens, manifesting dreams out of light and pixels.

[…] One Seed Shutter Sisters asks us, “What seed do you have in your head? What creative project, practical idea, hope or dream would you like to grow?” That does seem to be the question in the air right now. […]
