Mother Nature expresses herself a number of ways. The vast spectrum of the elements, her many creatures and a color pallet that no paint could ever match.

Each new season, a unique expression and however she feels, it influences everything. What we want to do, what we wear, how we feel; it all comes back to the whims of Mother Nature.

Why not let your lens lead you as the seasons shift again and we dive headlong into autumn where everything around us takes giant strides toward change and keeps our hearts aglow in gratitude and thanksgiving?

I invite you to join me from October 1- October 31 for my next photo-centric guided e-class called Picture Fall. What could be better than joining other shutter sisters for 30 days of soulful creative expression? I can’t think of much.

In celebration of my coming class and the bountiful beauty of the coming months, we’re giving away 3 complimentary registrations for Picture Fall. Just leave a comment here today to be entered in the random drawing between now and 9/16 at midnight EST.

  12. I loved picture summer and would love to take this class too….I recently moved from a southern climate with no real noticeable change of season to a northern one and the leaves are already changing color. I love (and have missed) fall!

  23. Growing up in Florida I didn't truly get to experience autumn at its most beautiful, but living here has made the season a whole new and exquisite experience for me. So much so that I painted my dining room a pumpkin color to keep the season with me year round.

  25. I joined Picture Fall and I loved it. Although it's so challenging to shot on a daily base. Currently I honestly struggle with registering for picture fall because I doubt to manage the daily effort … but I wish I could plan appropriately an join picture fall. PFis highly recommended to any interested reader!

  77. I can't say we have much of a Fall here in Texas, today it's in the mid 90s. However, I would take that as a challenge to create some Fall photos with you.

I could not stop looking at that leaf and trying to figure out techniques, etc. I always welcome Fall and just love every thing about it…except that winter comes after it, and I would love to freeze the autumn season…maybe taking a photo a day would help me do that.   172. I am so excited to take fall photos. Autumn is my favourite time of the year. This is my first first fall with a DSLR, I just started my first photography class in about 20 years, and I can't wait to see what i can do as the knowledge of manual photography comes back to me!

    Now that I've gone back, I can see such a big difference between my point & shoot photos and what I'm taking now, I don't think I'll ever go back, no matter how convenient and high quality they make them!
