There’s no better way to feel inspired and renewed than to view the world through the eyes of a child. Watching my little guy discover the world is already exciting and he’s still so young. I look forward to watching his gears turn as he experiences new things. And I can only imagine how often I will be right there with my camera, capturing the look on his face and rediscovering it all for myself.

I feel like I've rediscovered nature again. That might sound weird, but I've come out of a sort of hard time in my life recently and I seem to notice the beauty of the littlest things again. Like a simple dandelion in the lawn or birdies sitting on a wire. It's like I see things I had sort of glanced over for so long. These are a few of my favorites <3

A few months ago the photo bug just left me. I had no motivation to get out my camera and see what I could see, which hasn't happened to me in even near recent memory. But a few weeks ago, I realized that creating through photographs is one of the greatest joys I bring myself, so I started creating again. This is photo really struck me and amped up the photo excitement. Perhaps it strikes me because it looks so sad. A feeling I could relate to and a reason for my photography hiatus. It's a little ironic that a photo I took of sadness can help bring the photo bug in me to full throttle.
