Love this collection of abstract shadows.
These aren't quite shadows..and not quite as abstract – but with very little sun these days..it's the closest I've got:

the longest day has been here so we go to shorter ones
Love this collection of shadows, I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite.

Shadows are my new-found love. I can't stop taking photos of these fleeting, ethereal subjects.
Here is my Flickr set devoted to my latest obsession:

Shadows can add so much to a photograph (and also totally distract if you're not careful).
Love these! I caught one yesterday during a shoot at the Baha'i temple just outside of Chicago.

Great picture!
Here's one from me. I've started photographing like 6 months ago and since then I'm amused how many things I hadn't seen before. I'm not really proud of this one, but it is a good example of noticing shadow:)
