What makes me melt? Anything related to my girl and my pup! I love this shot of my two favorite little ones – it actually took quite a bit of work to get Bailey to stay still long enough for me to get my 15-month old to stay still long enough for the shot. But, it was worth it:

I haven't had a baby urge since my last was born. Puppy urges on the other hand, I have all the time. They are far more dangerous and if it weren't for my clear headed husband we'd likely have 20 dogs. So I'm with you on this heart melting subject. Animal cuteness of all kinds really.

I just so happened to photo blog about my favorite pup yesterday. He makes my heart melt, but my heart completely dissolves when I see his "daddy" (my son) turn into mush over him. My son is an Iraqi war vet who has PTSD and a traumatic brain injury. It has been a real struggle for him to integrate back into civilian life after being medically retired. This dog has been a miracle in terms of my son's recovery.

I got to shoot some dogs this weekend which was totally melty BUT taking pics of the first same gender marriages happening in NYC is my big melter of the week. I'm only about halfway through posting them but the ladies in their 80s who've been together 70 years? They make me happy-weepy.
