Spring has finally arrived and I find myself once more belly down in the soft grasses searching for tiny details through the lens of my camera. Point of view, is something I love to play around with. Getting down low is probably my favorite. Some call it a worm’s eye view. If you could see me I am often with muddy wet knees or grass sticking in my hair from getting shots just like this one. I think getting a little dirty is all part of the fun. I feel like a kid exploring the world at my feet.
Today lets have some fun, grab your camera and go play in the grass. Get low. Get muddy. Have fun!
Then share your worm’s eye view with us here. What beautiful little details can you find today?

I love setting my camera down and pressing the shutter button revealing a most pleasing surprise. In this image, if you look closely toward the center of the image you can see the trail of a raindrop.

Hi there. I'm new to the blog world and recently started my own photo blog. I've been searching for photography sites as they inspire me. I'm lovin', not only this shot but, lots of shots throughout your website! I joined your flickr groups and submitted my own shots. Oh, and I love the angle in shots that getting low can give you. I'm often on the floor or ground myself! You sometimes have to get dirty to get beautiful shots.

Can I ask sisters, do you guys actually use a tripod for making that "worm view" photo? Because my tripod is big…can`t make it that low….and from what I read, a macro photo needs a tripod…anyone can gimme a suggestion how to? thanks sista….

So cool, the babies flying off into the world! I know that feeling! Here is one of my flowers details that I love. I have a huge thing about gladioli's and this one is so soft and translucent that it makes my fingers tingle to look at it.

Hi
I posted previously on how I love low angle shots and use them perhaps alittle too often ๐ I did not know it was called the "worms eye view" I learned something new today woohoo!.
For me living in England a sure sign spring is here is the arrival of the Daffodills.
This shot was too low for me to actually see through the lens and I did not want to lie down because I would have damaged the hundreds of bluebells surrounding the daffodils, so I took a gamble.
I think the blur adds somewhat giving the Daffodils a strange look like splodges of yellow fairies. Not sure maybe not :-).

Take care
